Production Assistant


Position Reports to: Director of Production

Status: Full-Time

Salary and Benefits: Full-time salary, healthcare stipend, retirement, and other benefits.

Position Objective: The Production assistant will support the mission of Harvest Church through assisting in the technical, audio and visual media production of worship services, ministry meetings, and special events.

Spiritual and Character Qualifications:

  • Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a passionate, growing personal relationship with Him

  • High moral integrity consistent with the Biblical qualifications for church leaders as outlined in Scripture (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-5)

  • Commitment to the mission, doctrine, vision and philosophy of Harvest Church

  • Willingness to become a covenant member of Harvest church and work under the direction of the Elders and Senior Pastoral Leaders

  • Self-starter with drive, passion and initiative

  • Teachable spirit with a desire to be held accountable

  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively

  • Ministry partner willing to voice concern and disagreement in a respectable way while following accepted relationships of authority, responsibility and leadership

  • Ability to minister and walk through life with staff and volunteers.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in the areas of audio, video, lighting and media

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide production support for all ministry departments of the church with various ministry programming and special events

  • Assist Director of Production in preparing for high quality execution of weekend services

  • Assist in the procurement, installation, maintenance, repair and inventory of all production and facility audio, video, lighting and media equipment.

  • Collaborate in the creative process for worship services and special events

  • Oversee the audio/video capture and distribution of the livestream of weekend services

  • Assist in creating worship center stage design and implementation

  • Assist in consistent leadership and stewardship of volunteers.
